Hello there!
I haven't not posted here in quite some time. Let's catch up on some happenings: I started this writing space in 2016 when the Lord impressed to me in multiple ways and through several strangers that I would be writing a book. There are journals all over my house of things that "might be supposed to go in the book ", yet no real progress because I was not immersing myself in it. In other words not submitting to what I was given the opportunity to do.
In May of this year, I went to The Cove in Asheville, NC and the direction was reawakened. There I bought a Bible study, Experiencing God, by Richard & Henry Blackaby. Within those pages, I relearned that it took 25 years for Abraham to see God's promise to him fulfilled in Isaac (Genesis 22) and that gave me inspiration. It has only been 8 years for me to choose obedience in this area of writing. Certainly I am not proud of this fact, but I got to thinking there are surely things God is working on in and around me. His preparations appear and I am recognizing that frequently. I'm not sure of the outcome, but God knows so here we GO!
In June, I received what I thought was a "random email" inviting me to write a submission for a collaborative book about the transitions that back-to-school brings. With that surprise acceptance came the writing frenzy and now the book is here and pictured above. Woohoo! Those words make the whole process sound a lot more simple than it was!
Maybe you're thinking: “I don't currently have any school-age children”. Neither do I. God weaves us together on purpose to help one another from our experiences. If you would like to help get the story into the right hands, order the book HERE, read it, and post your review on Amazon. It contains 10 chapters for moms in every season. There are hope-filled insights from faith-driven writers with heartfelt stories, reflections and practical next steps to help you and those you love.
Some of the book's impact on you, your children (or grandchildren) will be the eternal values, building confidence, guidance for the empty nest, and balancing joy, fear and faith. You will build resilience through the exercises and embrace the journey ahead with renewed purpose and hope. I thank you in advance for helping others hear the message of HOPE. Regardless of your current season, there is a message of encouragement for you within the pages.
Please click here to opt in to my future emails and receive a complimentary fall prayer guide. As a regular subscriber, you will receive a new prayer guide each month. Thanks for being here.
Warmly,
Bonnie
